Dolly Parton wishes fans a great 2026: 'May it be your most wonderful year yet'

Dolly Parton has wished fans a Happy New Year in a heartfelt message.

In a video posted to Instagram on Wednesday, the country music icon delivered a brief speech in which she thanked her 8.2 million followers for their ongoing support.

"Hey, it's Dolly. Can you believe it's already time to ring in the New Year?" she began. "As we say goodbye to the old and welcome the new, I want to wish each and every one of you a year filled with happiness and more blessings than you can count."

To conclude the sweet message, the 79-year-old added: "May it be your most wonderful year yet. Happy New Year!"

For the footage, Dolly sported a black blazer with gold embellishment and had her signature platinum blonde hair styled in an updo.

And despite her recent health struggles, the Jolene hitmaker appeared vibrant.

In September, Dolly announced that she would be postponing a string of upcoming Las Vegas concerts as she had been "dealing with some health challenges".

The Hollywood icon noted that she would be undergoing a "few procedures" and needed time out from her busy schedule to recuperate.

In addition, Dolly took a hiatus following the death of her husband, Carl Dean. Carl died at the age of 82 in March.

Elsewhere, Céline Dion also offered her fans a Happy New Year.

"As we welcome this New Year, I want to take a moment to send you all my love. May this year bring you good health, happiness, and peace in your heart," she commented. "I hope you find laughter in the little things, strength in the hard times, and joy in the memories you create with those you love."

To finish, Céline thanked fans for "keeping me in your hearts".

"You are always in mine. From my family to yours, I just want to wish you, a Happy New Year," the 57-year-old smiled.
