NewsJanuary, 30 Ariana Grande reacts to editing fail leaving her with 'extra appendage' in photoshoot
Ariana Grande has reacted to an editing error making it appear as if she has six fingers on one hand in a recent photoshoot. Last week, the singer-actress posted a series of images from her Vogue Japan cover story to her Instagram page. In one photograph, Ariana is seen posing in a yellow Dior outfit and a pair of sheer white gloves. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that an extra finger had been added to her hand between her ring and pinky fingers in the snap. After the image was posted on a fan account on Thursday, Ariana simply wrote, "holy s**t." And a short time later, the Wicked: For Good star expressed her delight over the flub. "Oh my goodness how exciting! I've been saying I need some extra appendages so that I can start an album! Thankful for this," the 32-year-old added. Since the error began to circulate online, editors at Vogue Japan have corrected the image on the fashion publication's website. Representatives for the magazine have not yet commented on the mistake. In the accompanying article for the photoshoot, Ariana credited her mother, Joan Grande, for keeping her grounded amid her hectic work schedule. "I feel like there have been a lot of times when I've been doing my best work creatively, and yet my celebrity has been louder than the work," she said, appearing emotional. "And my mom has always been here to set the record straight in my head and remind me of my worth as an artist and as a human being every time that noise has almost derailed me." Ariana is currently preparing for The Eternal Sunshine Tour, which is set to kick off in June.
