Ariana Grande goes Instagram official with Ricky Alvarez

Ariana Grande has confirmed she and Ricky Alvarez are back together.

Last month, the music superstar hinted she had rekindled her romance with the former backup dancer by switching up the lyrics of her hit song, Thank U, Next, during her Eternal Sunshine Tour concert in New York City.

And returning to Instagram on Wednesday, Ariana posted a slideshow of recent images, including two snaps in which she tagged Ricky.

One photo shows the Wicked actress and her beau standing side-by-side with their heads cropped out of the frame, while a second is a blurry mirror selfie of the pair.

The Petal hitmaker has not yet publicly commented on her relationship.

Previously, Ariana and Ricky dated from 2015 until July 2016.

Most recently, the Side to Side singer dated her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater. The couple reportedly split in June after nearly three years together.

Ariana was married to real estate agent Dalton Gomez from 2021 until they finalised their divorce in March 2024.

Earlier this month, the Hate That I Made You Love Me star announced that she would be taking a career break after she wraps up the Eternal Sunshine Tour in London on 1 September.

Ariana has had a busy year, having gone on a publicity tour for her movie Wicked: For Good in late 2025, kicked off the tour in June, and released her eighth studio album, Petal, at the end of July.
