Adele rules at top of album chart

Adele has topped the album chart for a 14th week, the Official UK Charts Company said.

The Londoner's album 21 made pop history by spending 11 consecutive weeks at the top of the charts but was temporarily knocked off the top spot by American rockers the Foo Fighters.

The singer-songwriter's debut album 19 was in third, knocked back down one place by the highest new entry, Helplessness Blues by Fleet Foxes.

There were two more new entries in the top 10: Love by Jennifer Lopez, at number six; and the Beastie Boys' Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, at number nine.

In the singles chart Party Rock Anthem, by LMFAO featuring Lauren Bennett and Goonrock, held on to the number one spot for a fourth week.

Where Them Girls At, by David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida, was the highest of only three new entries in the top 40, charting at number three.

The other two new entries were I Can by Blue at number 16 and I'm Into You by Jennifer Lopez featuring Lil Wayne at number 40.
