					Ladyhawke turns 'Britpop' on album

Ladyhawke has revealed that her second album has a Britpop sound to it.
The Kiwi musician, whose real name is Pip Brown, told NME the follow-up to her Eighties-inspired electro self-titled debut album had more of a Nineties feel.
She said: "It sounds quite Britpop."
The musician also revealed the album came about when she crashed out at home in New Zealand after promoting and touring with her first album, and started listening to all her old tapes.
She said: "I took a lot of trips down memory lane and found all my old Britpop stuff: Blur, Supergrass, even stuff like The Dandy Warhols. This album is basically me at 18."
