Roberts: Girls Aloud are united

Nicola Roberts has said she's "really excited" about Girls Aloud's 10th anniversary reunion - and insisted Nadine Coyle will have no problem fitting in.

The singer, who won a place in the group during TV show Popstars: The Rivals, is looking forward to getting together with her bandmates to mark the milestone next year.

"It's a whole year away yet, I feel like whatever's said should be said as a band, it's kind of not up to me to say anything, but obviously it's really exciting," she said.

"It'll be lovely for us to be in each other's company again together as a band and nice for the fans as well."

Despite rumours of a rift between Nadine and the rest of the band, Nicola said the Irish star would slot back into the group easily.

"We've been together for nearly 10 years. We have a lot of history and our relationship is a lot more deep-rooted than just a surface-based thing, so just because you don't see somebody for a little while I think the history's there and will always be there and the dynamic is so strong between us," she explained.

But Nicola admitted she'd changed a lot since first auditioning for the band.

"I think because I used to be so shy, and I was so young. I auditioned for the band when I was 16 years old. I think naturally from just leaving school to growing up and being 26, everybody changes anyway don't they?"
