Queen to honour musician Ferry
Debonair chart veteran Bryan Ferry, who helped change the face of pop music with his band Roxy Music, will be made a CBE by the Queen.
Ferry, 66, has had a recording career spanning nearly 40 years, enjoying success with his innovative group and as a solo artist.
He formed Roxy Music in 1971 and they went on to have a string of hits including Virginia Plain, Love Is The Drug and Jealous Guy, plus several chart-topping albums.
His solo career - including Let's Stick Together and Slave to Love - began with a 1973 cover of Bob Dylan's A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall, from the album These Foolish Things.
The singer is currently touring his latest album Olympia, and played reunion shows with Roxy earlier this year.
