Plan B: I'll win my soul fans back

Plan B reckons he can win over any fans who aren't sure about his switch from soul back to hip-hop.

The star, real name Ben Drew, took a break from his rap roots for his last album The Defamation Of Strickland Banks, which showcased a more soulful sound.

But Plan B told the Star he isn't worried about fans of the record deserting him now he's back with edgy new single Ill Manors.

"If you bought my last album and sung my praises, how can you just switch on me? That says more about you than me," he said.

"But I'll win them back. I said that about my rap fans after the first album and I did. Same goes for this lot."

The 28-year-old also wants to make a positive influence after last summer's riots.

"If anybody wants to talk to me to discuss how we can change the issue, I'm ready," he added.

"I don't think I can bring out a record like this and not try and really change things. If money is good for one thing it's making other people happy."
