Minogue overhauls Nick Cave duet

Kylie Minogue has overhauled her duet with Nick Cave for a new version of the song on her forthcoming orchestral album.

The singer has revamped hits from throughout her 25-year career for her new release The Abbey Road Sessions.

And Nick has also been into the studio to re-record his vocal on the single Where The Wild Roses Grow which was first a hit in 1995, reaching number 11 in the singles chart.

At the time the Australian duo seemed an unlikely pairing with Kylie best known for her pop hits while Nick, a former heroin addict, had spent years working on dark brooding tunes. The track was included on his Murder Ballads album.

Kylie has worked on 16 tracks for the album - out on October 29 - including a previously unreleased song Flower, she announced today.

She will unveil her new versions of the tracks by performing with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Proms In The Park on Saturday in London's Hyde Park.

Other tracks on the album include Better The Devil You Know, I Should Be So Lucky and Confide In Me.
