Milla Jovovich to release album

Milla Jovovich has revealed that she will reprise her musical career by releasing an album later this year.

The supermodel and actress, who has been travelling around the world for Resident Evil: Retribution premieres, has always planned to release another LP since her debut album The Divine Comedy in 1994, but had yet to do so.

"Hopefully by October I'll be able to put something out. It's called Sweeter Than Madness and my musician friend Chris Brenner is producing it," she told The Sun.

Milla, who has a four-year-old daughter Ever with director husband Paul WS Anderson, also revealed that there are no hard feelings between her and ex Stuart Zender, who has joined her on the record.

"My ex-boyfriend Stuart Zender, a founder member of Jamiroquai, plays bass," she added.

The 36-year-old has a strong musical background, having contributed to film soundtracks such as Underworld, Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans and The Million Dollar Hotel.

She formed an experimental band called Plastic Has Memory with Chris in 1999, in which she wrote the songs, sang, and played electric guitar, and has also lent her vocals to Tool and A Perfect Circle musician Maynard James Keenan's side project Puscifer.

Milla also continues to write demos, which she posts on her official website for download.
