Carly Rae Jepsen: Call me lost

Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed she's often woken up not knowing what country she is in.

The Canadian singer has travelled the world to promote her smash hit single Call Me Maybe, and the hectic schedule sometimes leaves her feeling disorientated.

She told BBC Breakfast: "There were a couple of months where I would wake up in the morning and wonder where I was in the world and check my hotel card and say, 'Berlin, OK, let's do this!' It was a lot of fun though, I wouldn't have it any other way."

Call Me Maybe has spawned numerous internet tributes from stars including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and even Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan.

Carly - who is back with new single Good Time - said: "My family's really good about sending me all the latest and greatest (clips) and my friends too. It's been a ball to see people do their own remakes, it's kind of rejuvenated it for me - I've sung the song a number of times but seeing it redone adds new life, I guess."
