The Wanted toughen up for video

The Wanted apparently ended up with some bumps and bruises after filming their new music video.

The boyband - Max George, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran and Tom Parker - got roughed up while shooting fight scenes for the video I Found You, after they refused the offer of body doubles.

"The guys got pretty beaten up and ended the day with some serious cuts and bruises. Several of the band received full-on punches to the face," a source told the Daily Mirror.

"The video shows them in a series of fight scenes, all of which had to be filmed multiple times to get right. A team of medics were on hand at all times," they added.

Max has given the final edit his thumbs up, tweeting: "Just seen the video... Holy s*** I'm excited."

The single will be out on November 4.
