Jacksons: Michael's spirit lives on

The Jacksons have said that the legacy of their late brother Michael lives on in their stage performances.

The siblings quartet - Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon - admitted that they feel their younger brother is with them on stage whenever they perform.

"I see him next to me on stage every night," Jermaine told the Daily Star.

Tito added: "We do it for Michael every show. You can feel his presence on stage with us. His spirit is alive."

The brothers - who play Bournemouth International Centre on March 2, and London's Hammersmith Apollo on March 3 - say that the shows feel like therapy, following Michael's death in 2009.

"It's a different way of healing for us, doing these shows. There's a section where we play the old family movie footage, taking the fans down memory lane. We each cover his song lines and it feels like a celebration," said Tito.

Marlon said: "I don't think there could ever be an event big enough to truly send off the biggest entertainer in the world. After a few years of mourning, we brothers started to sing again and decided to deal with our loss on a day-to-day basis. You don't get over something like that. But when we get on stage, it's freeing and healing for us because the music brings back great memories."
