NewsMarch, 11 Ill Rihanna embarrassed by no-showRihanna has revealed her disappointment after having to pull out of a concert in the US because of ill health. The Diamonds songstress was forced to postpone the Boston gig on doctor's orders, after suffering a bout of laryngitis on the second date of her Diamonds world tour, which kicked off in Buffalo, New York, on March 8. "#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down," tweeted the 25-year-old. "I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!" she added. A statement from tour organisers Live Nation said: "The Rihanna Diamonds World Tour previously scheduled for this evening in Boston has been postponed. Unfortunately, following her sold-out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening." Fans have been told to keep their tickets for a rescheduled performance at a later date, while show bosses hope she will bounce back in time for her Baltimore show on March 12. Rihanna's no-show came days after on-off boyfriend Chris Brown gave a crude impromptu speech about "owning" women's bodies during a party at Hollywood's Emerson Theatre club. According to footage seen on TMZ.com, the 23-year-old rapper, who is on probation for assaulting the singer in 2009, sings on stage: "You gotta say one thing to her. Don't make me have to tell you again, that's my p****, baby. It is mine baby, babe, mine... so you better not give it away." Charity Women's Aid, which helps domestic violence victims, were angered by the remarks, saying: "No one has the right to own or control their partner," while Rihanna fans also blasted Chris for his comments.
