NewsMarch, 11 Rudolph shakes baby bump for PrinceMaya Rudolph took centre stage at an all-star Prince tribute concert, shaking her baby bump as she got down to the pop star's tunes on stage. The Bridesmaids star - who is expecting her fourth child - was one of 20 performers including Chris Rock, Elvis Costello and The Roots who partied like it was 1999 at New York's Carnegie Hall as they celebrated the pop icon, and helped raise 100,000 dollars for music education programmes. Maya, who sings Prince covers under the moniker PRINCEss with singer Gretchen Lieberum, sang Darling Nikki and didn't slow down while performing choreography in heels. Comedian Chris impersonated Prince, reciting the lyrics to If I Was Your Girlfriend with sass. The performers all belted out the singer's hits - including Kiss, Little Red Corvette, Let's Go Crazy and It's Going To Be A Beautiful Night - in their own special style, while members of the Young Audiences New York Youth Choir joined Booker T Jones and Diane Birch for Raspberry Beret. They all joined together on stage to close the two-hour show with 1999. Singer D'Angelo took the lead while putting his arm around Bettye LaVette, Chris and Elvis clapped hands side-by-side, and comedians-actresses-singers Maya and Sandra Bernhard danced in a silly manner - all while the crowd cheered on.
