NewsMay, 2 Lopez and Chris Brown collaborateChris Brown and Jennifer Lopez are going back in time for their upcoming collaboration. J-Lo has been working with the Fine China singer on her new album and according to MTV it could have an old school vibe. She told Extra: "Yes, when we were in the studio, writing songs and just getting that whole 'Jenny from the Block' flavour back. "We actually worked on a bunch of ideas... and we talked about doing a duet together for his album. "Every time I get a new song I'm like, 'Oh, that could be a new title for the album'." Jennifer had a hit single with Jenny From The Block 11 years ago in 2002. Recently Chris, 23, told MTV News songwriting was part of his plan for his music career: "I think being able to write for great artists - J-Lo, collaborating, working on her album - and doing stuff that I never thought possible. "Everything that I do creatively, whether it be skating, anything that I try to put my hands onto, hopefully [I'm] excelling in it and, you know, making people see the light at the end of the tunnel." He also told Ryan Seacrest a few weeks earlier that he hoped to get J-Lo working on his 2013 album X with him. Chris said: "We actually are collaborating. I'm trying to get her on my album, I have a couple of songs that would be incredible for her to feature on. But as for now, I'm just in the studio writing for her album and collaborating on new stuff and trying to give her some party music and fun stuff."
