NewsJuly, 6 Stones still to decide playlistThe Rolling Stones will not decide the final setlist for their Hyde Park return until just before the show - because the band are still trying to agree on the songs, Keith Richards has revealed. Tens of thousands of fans have begun streaming into the outdoor venue in anticipation of the band's headline performance, 44 years after they last played. But in an interview for Absolute Radio, guitarist Richards admitted it was still not clear what songs the band will choose to play - and they may have to hold some back for a second gig in a week's time. The veteran musician - who played at Glastonbury Festival with the rock idols a week ago - said he and frontman Sir Mick Jagger will need to give the running order the final once over on the night. He said: "We are still differing about certain songs and stuff, and also we have to think that we have another one coming up and which ones we want to do this time and what we want to do next week. So, there is still a bit of juggling going on. But, I mean those things can be decided on the night." The show - part of the Barclaycard presents British Summertime - is the band's first appearance at Hyde Park since they played a celebrated free festival there in 1969. It was the band's first appearance since the death of former guitarist Brian Jones, and featured the first performance by his replacement Mick Taylor - who will also take a guest role tonight. Richards said: "There is a kind of a full circle being drawn here as well." Other acts on the bill for the multi-stage event today include The Temper Trap and The Vaccines.
