NewsJuly, 10 Elton lined up for iTunes FestivalSir Elton John, Arctic Monkeys and Pixies are the latest acts to be added to the line-up of free shows at the iTunes Festival. They will headline shows at the month-long series of gigs at London's Roundhouse in September. Also joining the bill will be Brits Critics' Choice winner Tom Odell and chart-topper Robin Thicke. Sir Elton, who will also play an outdoor show in London's Hyde Park on July 12, said: "For me, it's a real thrill to play for young audiences - they've got so much energy and they all seem to know my songs! "The iTunes Festival evokes the spirit of memorable gigs at the Roundhouse over many years... and I should know, I've played a few there in my time." Other acts already announced for the festival include Queens Of The Stone Age, Kings Of Leon and Ludovico Einaudi. The shows will also be streamed online. Details about applying for tickets are at itunesfestival.com.
