NewsApril, 7 Beyonce and Rihanna debut music videos on TidalBeyonce and Rihanna have released exclusive videos on new streaming service, Tidal. Beyonce, who is co-owner of the site alongside husband Jay Z, debuted ballad Die With You. The video features the singer playing a baby grand piano and serenading the cameraman, revealed at the end to be her rapper husband. Rihanna’s American Oxygen video was not such a stripped-back an affair. It includes footage of historic events such as US President Barack Obama being sworn in as president and the 9/11 terrorist attacks, alongside her singing in front of an American flag. Other stars who have shared exclusive content on Tidal include Madonna, who has given a sneak peek of her new music video Ghosttown, as well as Daft Punk and The White Stripes. Tidal is a paid-for streaming service, that describes itself as “the first artist-owned global music and entertainment platform”. Madonna, Kanye West, Daft Punk and Alicia Keys helped to launch it last week at a ceremony in New York.
