Iggy and Britney go retro for music video

Britney and Iggy is a modern-day musical pairing, but it looks like they're going retro for their upcoming collaboration.

The pop star and the rapper revealed last year they would be working on a track, Pretty Girls, that's due to appear on Spears' next album.

Azalea also said she would be co-directing the video for the track and, if recent pictures are anything to go by, the duo have gone back to the '80s for the clip.

Photos have surfaced showing Aussie rapper Azalea wearing a double-denim combo - shorts and a waistcoat - with her long-blonde hair crimped, cosying up to Spears in the back of a convertible car.

Spears looks like an extra from a Molly Ringwald movie, wearing a cropped leopard-print top, ripped denim jeans, neon earrings and baby-pink lipstick.

The pop singer also tweeted a picture of herself wearing the same garb and driving a convertible jeep. Her accompanying caption sounded like possible lyrics, perhaps to the new track.

"Girls roll up/ windows roll down/ eyes on us/ jaws on the ground," she tweeted, using emojis instead of some words.
