Kanye West releases 17-minute new track

Kanye West has released a new track which stretches to a whopping seventeen minutes.

The track ‘BED YEEZY SEASON 5’, featuring guest appearances from The-Dream and DJDS, was originally played during West’s New York Fashion Week show entitled Yeezy Season 5 on February 15.

The track, originally called ‘Bed’, was written ten years ago for Chris Brown and recorded by J Holiday, as Fader reports. It appeared on an unofficial mixtape called ‘Lovetape: The Demos’ but has since been extended in collaboration with ‘Life Of Pablo’ producers DJDS to seventeen minutes to soundtrack West’s fashion show.

To mark the Fashion Week show, West posted the track on Soundcloud. Listen to the song below.

Meanwhile, Sia had asked Kanye to make his Fashion Week show fur-free. “Dear @kanyewest,” the singer Tweeted, “would you consider going fur free? This is the reality of fur for fashion – it’s so sad.” The collection appeared to include fur coats and accessories.

West is also reported to be rescheduling his UK tour around ‘The Life Of Pablo’ for later in 2017 after all remaining dates were cancelled when the rapper was hospitalized in the US in November citing “extreme sleep deprivation”. He had recently cut short a gig in Sacramento after thirty minutes, during which he controversially criticized Jay Z and Beyonce.
