Cher is giving the people want they want with an upcoming ABBA cover album, Dancing Queen. Warner Bros. Records officially revealed the forthcoming project Thursday, stating that the album will be released on Sept. 28. The project was inspired by the legendary singer's latest role as Ruby Sheridan in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, where she stole the show with her rendition of "Fernando." The album was recorded and produced in London and Los Angeles with the help of Cher's longtime collaborator Mark Taylor, Entertainment Weekly reports. Listen to Cher - GIMME! GIMME! GIMME! (A Man After Midnight) In a statement, the 72-year-old Cher revealed that she's always been an ABBA fan and that she's seen the Mamma Mia musical three times on Broadway. "After filming Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, I was reminded again of what great and timeless songs they wrote and started thinking, 'Why not do an album of their music?'" she said. Fans were given a little sneak peek of what to expect Wednesday night when the singer released a teaser video for "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)." The album also includes hits such as "Mamma Mia," "Waterloo," and "The Winner Takes It All."
