NewsDecember, 12 Little Mix get emotional as they look back on moment they won X Factor 10 years onLittle Mix are reflecting on the moment that changed their lives forever - when they won The X Factor. The pop group, consisting of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, took to their joint Instagram account on Saturday to look back at the life-changing memory. They were crowned the winners on national television, with Marcus Collins as runner-up, and went on to become the UK's biggest girlband. "When we won," Leigh-Anne said as she held up a photo of the girls from the moment they won the singing competition back in 2011. She continued: "Look at us, little babies. Wow. And you can see in our faces we did not expect that. It was mad." Perrie was next to look back at the photo which captured their incredible win. She said: "This was the most life-changing event, ever, for all of us, surely. Winning The X Factor, when we thought we wouldn't even make it to the first week. "Tulisa's face as well. I literally loved Tulisa so much, she was our rock. This just makes me so happy. Look what we did." Jade then added: "I can't even remember this happening, to be honest. As you can see, I was quite animated in my expression, as we all were. "Tulisa is our sister - has been and always will be. She's honestly one of the reasons why we're here today and even managed to win that show, so we'll always be grateful to Tulisa. We love her very much." They captioned the short video: "10 years since we won The X Factor," the trio wrote on their joint Instagram account. "The most life-changing moment ever for all of us. Thank you for all the support over the last decade xxx." The girls' Instagram post was flooded with sweet comments from their devoted fans, who shared their support on their anniversary. One person wrote: "LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY." A second shared: "BIGGEST GIRL GROUP." "The best girl group in the world won and 10 years and I'm still proud of you," a third commented. The Little Mix girls were mentored by N-Dubz hitmaker Tulisa during their time on the ITV show, and formed a very close bond with her. She helped the girls with their rise to fame, and it seems she is still in contact with them 10 years later. The girlband lost a member, Jesy Nelson, in December last year, as she quit the band. She decided to go her own way and launched her solo career earlier this year.
