New indictment against Sean 'Diddy' Combs as jailmate describes him as 'kind'

A new indictment has been filed against Sean "Diddy" Combs - as a jailmate describes him as "kind".

The rapper now faces allegations of forced labour and employee coercion alongside his existing charges of alleged racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The new superseding indictment alleged Combs, 55, forced his employees "to work long hours with little sleep" and achieved this via physical force, psychological intimidation, withholding payments and threatening to injure their reputations.

Additionally, the indictment alleged, Combs "caused these employees to believe they would be harmed - including by losing their jobs - if they did not comply with his demands."

It also alleged the rap impresario coerced one employee to participate in sex acts with him.

"With respect to one employee, Combs used physical force, psychological harm, financial harm and reputational harm, and/or threats of the same to cause the employee to engage in sex acts with Combs," the indictment claimed.

This week, Combs' fellow inmate Sam Bankman-Fried described him as "kind" and revealed some prisoners treated their proximity to the star as "an opportunity".

"Some of them are thinking, like, 'Wow, this is sort of a big opportunity,'" Bankman-Fried, imprisoned on fraud, conspiracy and money laundering charges, told Tucker Carlson. "You know, to meet people they otherwise wouldn't get to meet."

Combs and Bankman-Fried are currently incarcerated at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as they await their respective trials.
