Country star Hardy and wife Caleigh welcome baby girl

Hardy and Caleigh Ryan are celebrating the arrival of their newborn baby.

The two-time CMA Award winner announced that Rosie Ryan Hardy arrived on 7 March, weighing in at nine pounds, two ounces.

The pair were showered with messages of congratulations on their Instagram post of Sunday 9 March, with friends and fans complimenting the baby's name and sweet photos.

They first shared the news that they were expecting at a country music party in Nashville in October, and shared images from a maternity photo shoot on Instagram with the caption, "You have been our favourite little secret to keep. Baby Hardy coming February 2025.

The American country music singer-songwriter and his wife had a little extra time to wait before they met their daughter. On the due date in February, Ryan celebrated with a trip out to Jelly Roll's downtown Nashville bar.

Hardy has charted three No 1 Country Airplay hits, and his albums The Mockingbird & The Crow and Quit!! topped the Hard Rock Albums chart. He has also penned songs for Blake Shelton and Morgan Wallen.

He proposed to his then girlfriend in August 2021 at The Lyric venue in Oxford, Mississippi, which is where the couple met in 2017.

Rosie is their first child together.
