Drake claims Justin Bieber blanked him over a collaboration

Drake has implied that fellow singer Justin Bieber is blanking him on a request for a collaboration.

In recent weeks, fans have grown concerned for 31-year-old Canadian pop star Bieber as he has appeared dishevelled in public and showcased erratic behaviour in social media posts.

Fellow Canadian star Drake, 38, has claimed the Baby singer snubbed him when he made a request for a collaboration via social media.

Bieber took to Instagram over the weekend and asked his peers to contact him if they wanted to make new music, stating, "Dm me if u wanna make music together."

But Drake suggested the younger star ignored his request, commenting, "I DM'd but no reply."

The online interaction has sparked a frenzied response from fans who are now calling for the stars to collaborate together.

Earlier this year, Drake released a collaborative album with Canadian singer Jahron Brathwaite, 31 - better known by his pen name PartyNextDoor - titled Some Sexy Songs 4 U.

It had been heavily speculated that Bieber would feature on the album - and fans were left deflated when the Where Are Ü Now singer failed to appear on any of the 21 tracks on the record.

It has been four years since Bieber released an album of his own, with Justice released in 2021.

There are conflicting reports suggesting he may retire from music making versus reports he is preparing to release a new album in 2025.
