Gracie Abrams looks to Taylor Swift for songwriting advice.

In a recent interview with Billboard, the 25-year-old hitmaker explained that she still has a lot to learn when it comes to songwriting.

Gracie told the publication there are "a million people" who she is still learning from, including the Bad Blood hitmaker.

"Taylor is a great example of someone I've been lucky enough to spend a lot of time around and every single time I'm like, 'Tell me everything you know, please. Teach me how to be,'" the singer shared. "I want to live fully and do my best to capture what that feels like."

Gracie opened for Taylor on selected North American dates of her mammoth Eras Tour across 2023 and 2024, and they teamed up for the single Us in June last year.

When asked if she feels close to mastering the skill of songwriting, Gracie replied, "No. Oh, my God, no."

"I want to broaden my vocabulary times a thousand," the That's So True singer continued. "I want to spend the majority of my year reading so that I can do that. I feel nowhere near that level."

Speaking about her career as a whole, Gracie reiterated that she feels "very far away from having mastered anything" but will "continue to attempt to get closer to that point".

The Tough Love singer is currently on her The Secret of Us Tour, which kicked off in September last year.
