NewsApril, 16 Anne-Marie reveals she has gestational diabetes![]() Pregnant singer Anne-Marie has revealed that she has gestational diabetes. The British singer-songwriter is expecting her second child with rapper husband Slowthai, having welcomed daughter Seven in February 2024. During an interview on Capital Breakfast on Wednesday, Anne-Marie opened up about her pregnancy, confirming that the baby is a boy and that he will be her last child. "So, one of each?" asked presenter Sian Welby, before Anne-Marie confirmed, "I know and then I'm done." The 34-year-old also revealed that she had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, or high blood sugar that develops during pregnancy and usually goes away after giving birth, according to the NHS. "I've got gestational diabetes this time, though," Anne-Marie shared. "So yeah, that's annoying because I can't eat cereal or bread." The Ciao Adios hitmaker, who has been a vegetarian since 2018, then admitted that she has recently started eating meat to satisfy her pregnancy cravings. "The other day I really wanted to eat a steak and I've never eaten steak in my whole life," she said. After confirming that she and her husband had chosen a name for their son, Sian asked Anne-Marie if she found naming her children or her albums more difficult. "Probably choosing a name because Seven is so unique so we can't just call him Barry," the singer replied, before revealing that they're considering an "odd" moniker for their child. Anne-Marie and Slowthai, real name Tyron Frampton, got married in 2022.
