NewsMay, 15 Cassie details how PTSD from time with Sean 'Diddy' Combs left her suicidal![]() Cassie has detailed how she tried to walk into traffic as she struggled with PTSD after her relationship with Sean 'Diddy' Combs. The singer got candid about how it had taken a heavy mental and emotional toll on her. "I was spinning out," she tearfully testified on Wednesday, during her second day on the stand in Diddy's sex trafficking trial. "I didn't want to be alive anymore at that point." Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) explained that years after the alleged abuse by Combs, she hit a breaking point while shooting a music video in 2023, and was experiencing disturbing flashbacks. After coming home from the set, she told her husband, Alex Fine, "You can do this without me. You don't need me anymore." She then tried to walk out the door and into oncoming traffic before Fine stopped her. Following the incident, Cassie entered rehab and trauma therapy. During her recovery, she began writing a book about her time with Combs as part of her therapy process. She claimed she gave a copy of some of the chapters she wrote to the rapper. "I really wanted Sean to read the information," she said from the stand. Cassie and Fine, who tied the knot in 2019, share daughters Frankie, five, and Sunny, four, and are currently expecting a third child.
