Anderson .Paak working on new music with Mariah Carey amid dating rumours

Anderson .Paak has confirmed he's collaborating with Mariah Carey on new music.

The Silk Sonic star, who has been romantically linked to the pop diva since December, revealed on the Track Star* Instagram show that they have been in the recording studio together.

During the song-guessing game, Anderson correctly identified Mariah's hit Always Be My Baby and opened his jacket to show he was wearing a Mariah Carey T-shirt.

"This would be Mariah Carey. The Mariah Carey," he told the host. "I remember in like fifth grade or something, watching the music videos and having a huge crush."

When asked if they'd ever worked together, he replied, "We're working on some music on her new album."

Anderson and Mariah first sparked dating rumours in December when they were spotted holding hands in Aspen, Colorado. They were also seen holding hands at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and a dinner in West Hollywood in March.

They have to comment on the romance rumours.

Anderson, 39, and Mariah, 56, have both been married twice before. The R&B singer filed for divorce from his second wife, Jaylyn Chang, after more than 13 years of marriage in January 2024. They share two children.

Meanwhile, the We Belong Together hitmaker shares 14-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with her ex-husband Nick Cannon. She was most recently in a relationship with dancer Bryan Tanaka between 2016 and 2023.
