NewsJune, 2 Sean 'Diddy' Combs accused of 'stealing' phones and using 'tracking devices'![]() Sean 'Diddy' Combs would "steal" the phones of his assistant and girlfriend and used "tracking devices" to monitor them, a court has heard. The claims have been made in 55-year-old Combs's ongoing sex trafficking case which has now entered its fourth week. A former personal assistant under the alias of 'Mia' has been testifying against the music mogul and returned to court in New York on Monday to answer further questions after previously giving evidence last Thursday and Friday. CNN has reported that Combs' defence attorney, Brian Steel, questioned the former employee as to why she had texted the musician to wish him a "happy holidays" while they were in contact between 2018 and 2023. She responded that she was still "psychologically" under his grip even after she finished working with him in 2017 after eight years of employment. Mia told the court that Combs equipped her with a flip phone when she was working as his assistant and he insisted she use it to record content for him until he hired full-time videographers. She told the court that she "would not have been allowed to film" incidents when Combs allegedly turned violent. Discussing her close friendship with Cassie Ventura, who dated Combs from 2007 until 2018, Mia claimed Combs would confiscate both of their phones. She claimed the mogul had "stolen Cassie's phone many times", had also "stolen" her device many times while she worked with him, and claimed he "put tracking devices on (Cassie's) car" - stating she was left feeling "terrified" by the rap star. Combs is on trial charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution - he has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The trial continues.
