Snoop Dogg's daughter mourns loss of 10-month-old baby

Snoop Dogg's daughter, Cori Broadus, has announced the death of her baby girl, Codi Dreaux.

Cori shared the tragic news in a post on her Instagram Stories. The post featured a black-and-white photo of herself smiling while holding her baby. She wrote over the photo, "Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi."

Cori's fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared a series of photos on his own Instagram Stories.

"I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you," he wrote over an image of himself holding his daughter. "My baby," he added.

Cori is Snoop's youngest child with his wife of more than 35 years, Shante Broadus.

She shared in a 1 March 2025 Instagram post that Codi had been born three months early.

"The princess arrived at 6 months," she wrote in the birth announcement.

She added, "I've cried and cried, I've compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn't able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what, God always shows me that I'm His Child!

"Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she's perfect as ever!" she continued. "Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me."

In an Instagram Stories post shared the same day, Cori revealed that she had delivered the baby via C-section after doctors told her she was developing Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelets (HELLP) syndrome.

Codi spent 10 months in the NICU, with Cori sharing that she was finally able to bring her baby home early last month.

"She's home," she captioned a 6 January Instagram post featuring herself and Codi snuggling together on her bed. "Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all."
