Lambrini Girls reschedule US tour after singer fractures neck

Lambrini Girls have withdrawn from Coachella 2026 and postponed their entire American tour.

The decision comes after vocalist and guitarist Phoebe Lunny sustained a fractured neck.

As the noise-punk duo from Brighton, UK, announced on Instagram, the incident involving Lunny happened in Australia and was initially misdiagnosed, leading to delayed treatment. According to the announcement, doctors have ordered Lunny not to fly or perform for at least six weeks.

"We have to pull out of Coachella and reschedule our whole American headline tour," the post read. "Long story short: I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury."

In the statement, Lunny addressed fans directly: "To all American ticket holders: it's dark times, especially in the States. There are so many good folks who are carving out community and lifting each other up in the face of fascism. Making space for subversion and resistance is at the core of what this band is about."

On missing Coachella specifically, Lunny added: "We are so gutted guys. We want to be there so badly. If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it. This isn't something we are taking lightly, and we are really sad. We hope and pray there's some universe we get to play next year instead."

All postponed shows have been rescheduled rather than cancelled. The US dates now kick off on 16 June in New York, with additional shows pushed to September and October. UK and EU dates from late May onwards are unaffected.

The punk band was Consequence's Rookie of the Year in 2025, following the release of their debut LP, Who Let the Dogs Out.
