Allen books wedding DJ - aged 12
Lily Allen has apparently asked a 12-year-old schoolboy to DJ at her wedding this weekend.
The Smile singer was so impressed with the demo tape from Ted at the Controls - real name Ted Lavender - that she booked him for her nuptials to builder Sam Cooper on Saturday, the Sun reports.
Ted, who is the younger brother of Lily's half-sister and business partner Sarah, told the newspaper: "I do a lot of practising in my bedroom and I don't get nervous, except at the beginning. But mostly it's just really exciting when the crowd gets going. Lily's really nice and I'm looking forward to really rocking her party."
His dad Andy said: "My eldest daughter Sarah is Lily's half-sister and we're all going to the wedding. Lily wanted Ted to play."
Meanwhile, Lily appears to be getting anxious about the weather on her big day.
She tweeted: "It says there are going to be winds of 275 mph in Gloucestershire this Sat on Met Check, please tell me they're lying."
