X Factor hasn't changed Biffy stars
Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil has said having their track covered by X Factor winner Matt Cardle hasn't made much difference to the band.
The group's song Many Of Horror was renamed When We Collide and recorded as the winner's single on the TV talent show, hitting the No 1 spot.
But Simon told the Guardian: "It's not really made any difference to us."
He went on: "People might recognise the name a little more, but it's not altered who comes to shows.
"And if you buy the X Factor single you're not really a music fan anyway, are you?"
The Scottish three-piece are busy working on their next album, and Simon insisted the band are in it for the long haul.
"Even if we stopped selling records completely, we couldn't stop being in the band," he said.
"We're a family, and why would we want to break this family up? We still have all the hunger and the passion we ever had and we'll never be on autopilot."
