Lennox outfits and archive on show
Annie Lennox made an exhibition of herself today - as she launched a new display at the V&A Museum from her personal archive.
The singer, who has had huge success with the Eurythmics and as a solo star, will show 50 items - including many of her most dazzling stage outfits - at the museum.
A Union flag suit which she wore at the Brit Awards in 1999 and a sequinned evening dress worn in her Little Bird video are among the designs to be shown over the next five months.
The House of Annie Lennox exhibition will also feature handwritten lyrics, manuscripts and a selection of awards, including a Grammy and an Oscar, when it opens tomorrow.
The display is designed to accompany the autumn exhibition Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990, which opens on September 24.
Projections, videos, photographs and interviews also feature in the free display which has a house theme.
Lennox said: "My display will be an overview and insight into the main archive of my work over the last few decades.
"I'm truly honoured that it will be 'housed' at the V&A," she added.
Postmodernism is on until January 15, but The House Of Annie Lennox continues until February 26.
