Rihanna to headline festival

Rihanna is to headline the Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park next year - her only UK performance of the year.

The chart star, whose hits include Only Girl (In The World) and Umbrella, will headline the Sunday night of the weekend-long Barclaycard Wireless event on July 8.

Rihanna, who caused a stir when she went topless while filming a video in County Down, Northern Ireland, in September, is currently on her Loud tour in Europe.

She sold more than 320,000 tickets for the UK leg of the tour.

Tickets go on sale on Friday November 18.

Last year's Wireless featured headliners the Black Eyed Peas, the Chemical Brothers and Pulp.
