Vince Neil pleads guilty in Vegas
Vince Neil has pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct against his ex-girlfriend and paid a fine of 1,000 dollars.
The 50-year-old Motley Crue singer didn't appear in court but his lawyer entered a guilty plea to end a court case stemming from a confrontation he had with his ex-girlfriend at a Las Vegas lounge.
A Las Vegas judge accepted a plea deal in the misdemeanour disorderly conduct case and Neil's lawyer paid a 1,000 dollar fine on his behalf.
The justice of the peace dismissed a more serious misdemeanour charge of battery constituting domestic violence and declared the case closed.
Neil could have faced a year in jail if he'd been convicted.
His attorney, Richard Schonfeld, acknowledged that Neil pointed and cursed at Las Vegas entertainment reporter Alicia Jacobs and two of her friends in a casino comedy club last March.
