Lady Gaga 'overwhelmed by EMA wins
Lady Gaga has revealed to feeling "overwhelmed" by her four wins at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
The Marry The Night singer was the biggest winner of the ceremony, held at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, where she scooped prizes for Best Female and Biggest Fans, and her track Born This Way won Best Song and Best Video.
"I'm really floored and really overwhelmed. I never expect anything like this," she said backstage.
"Every time I make a new record or write a new song, I start from the bottom up again. I never anticipate or perceive that anything will come to me easily."
Lady Gaga - whose real name is Stefani Germanotta - added: "It's always a fight from the bottom up so I'm grateful to the fans for believing in me."
The star-studded ceremony, hosted by Selena Gomez, marked the first time the star had performed her latest hit Marry The Night live in Europe.
She stunned the crowd as she performed the song on board a giant moon sculpture, in a daring red gown before stripping off to reveal a crop-top and miniskirt combo. As the song ended, she lifted up her skirt and bared her tights-clad bottom.
