NewsMarch, 11 Snoop Dogg returns to T In The ParkSnoop Dogg has been added to the bill for the 20th T In The Park festival. The US hip-hop star joins an eclectic line-up taking to the stage on July 12-14 in Balado, Kinross. His appearance at T In The Park, named international music festival of the year by listings website Pollstar last month, comes 20 years after his first album Doggystyle and before his 12th, Reincarnated. His latest studio album is the first produced under his new moniker, Snoop Lion. Geoff Ellis, festival director, said: "Snoop Dogg is a true legend and one of the most influential rap stars of all time. His first and only T In The Park performance so far back in 2005 was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our 20-year history, and we're hugely excited to bring him back to Scotland for our 20th edition." George Kyle, head of sponsorship at Tennent's Lager which sponsors the festival, first held in 1994, said: "T In The Park continues to attract some of the greatest artists in the world, and Snoop Dogg is no exception." This year's festival bill has a variety of music, from RnB to folk and from dance through to rock and punk. Headliners announced so far for the main stage are Mumford And Sons, Rihanna and The Killers, while Kraftwerk, Stereophonics, Calvin Harris, Editors, Emeli Sande and Jake Bugg will also perform at the event. Organisers expect 85,000 people on each of the three days, and tickets are on sale now.
