NewsApril, 2 Gomez nervous about MTV performanceSelena Gomez has revealed she is anxious about making her music comeback at the MTV Movie Awards. The Spring Breakers star will perform Come And Get It, the first single from her new album, on television for the first time at the star-studded ceremony in Culver City, California, on April 14. "It is my first performance back as a musician. I'm so nervous!" she told MTV News. "I think it's really cool, because I got to take a year off of music and really be a part of great movies and work with great people, so I thought it would be perfect that I kind of go into music again through MTV and then the Movie Awards... I'm so stoked!" The song, written and produced by Ester Dean and Stargate, will make its US radio debut on April 8 on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. Selena, who stars with fellow former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens, as well as James Franco in Spring Breakers, hopes to surprise fans with her forthcoming performance. "I think for the performance, I'm going to try to do things that nobody's ever really seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level. So hopefully I'll do a good job," she said. The 20-year-old, who recently split from Justin Bieber, says she put everything into her fourth as-yet-untitled record. "This is the hardest I've ever worked on any album I've ever done. I recorded about 23 songs, and I picked 11. So we put all the album together, and I really wanted it to be a different level for me," she added.
