Nadine Coyle working on new music

Nadine Coyle has announced that she is working on new music.

The Sweetest High singer revealed on Twitter that she is back in the recording studio and making music that she said is for her fans.

The 27-year-old tweeted: "Back in the studio. If you could hear what i hear!!!! Xxx this is for all of you. Xciting! Xxx."

Nadine, who released her last solo album, Insatiable, in 2010, didn't reveal any more details about her new record.

The star has recently been busy with the Girls Aloud 10-year celebration tour.

When that came to an end the Irish singer insisted that the band's split was not her idea, and revealed she had wanted them to stay together.

She tweeted: "You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn't stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going."
