Little Mix cried at Elliott news

Little Mix have revealed that their collaboration with Missy Elliott left them in tears - literally.

Singer Jesy Nelson admitted that she cried after finding out the hip-hop star had agreed to feature on their new single, How Ya Doin?

"Having Missy Elliott on our track literally means everything to us. She's been my idol since I was little, I literally adore her, and every single interview that would ask who's your dream collaboration to work with, I'd always say Missy Elliott," she told MTV News.

"We've all wanted to work with her, she's just a legend. And something you dream of, that you never think is going to happen, and then when it did, I cried my eyes out, we were just in shock."

The 21-year-old added: "To actually just hear her and see her and then when we first heard the rap, I cried. And to see her in our video just gave me goosebumps because she's just a ledge!"

Her bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards agreed, with Leigh-Anne saying: "She was just so sick as well. So good!" and Perrie adding: "What a woman! We're very lucky girls!"

Meanwhile, Jesy has fuelled rumours that she has rekindled her romance with Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo after posting a photo of the pair in bed on Twitter. The couple ended their ten-month romance earlier this year, apparently because of their busy work schedules.

"Nite mixers sleep tight :) Jesy and mr banj xxxx" she wrote in the accompanying caption.
