Stewart renews his Vegas shows

Rod Stewart is set to stay in Las Vegas until 2015, after extending his run for another two years.

The Maggie May singer has announced the renewal of his contract at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, as he celebrated the 50th performance on his show Rod Stewart: The Hits.

"I'm thrilled to add another two years. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is literally one of the best venues in the entire world. There's not a bad seat in the house and it sounds great - I love it there," Rod said.

The new dates will kick off in November.

The show features the 68-year-old performing hits from his five-decade-long career including You Wear It Well, Hot Legs, You're In My Heart, Do You Think I'm Sexy, Some Guys Have All The Luck, Young Turks and Forever Young.

The Grammy-winning crooner, who was inducted twice into the Rock And Rock Hall Of Fame, has been enjoying chart success with his latest album Time, which debuted at number one in the UK.
