King to perform at Keys' Black Ball
Carole King is to perform at Alicia Keys' Black Ball event in November.
Grammy-winner Alicia announced that the iconic singer will hit the stage at the fundraising gala on November 7 in New York for her charity, Keep A Child Alive. It will be the organisation's 10-year anniversary.
Jazz vibraphonist Roy Ayers, British soul singer Laura Mvula and opera singer Kathleen Battle will also perform.
Keep A Child Alive assists people affected by HIV and Aids in Africa and India.
Last year, the organisation honoured Oprah Winfrey.
