Mars treasures his fans after show

Bruno Mars had a birthday to remember - when his fans sang to him at his latest show.

The Treasure singer celebrated his 28th birthday by performing at London's O2 Arena during his Moonshine Jungle tour. As the show drew to a close, his bandmate Philip Lawrence told the crowd about Bruno's special day, before rousing them into singing Happy Birthday.

"Thank you London for making my birthday so magical. See you tomorrow. #MoonshineJungle," he tweeted after the gig.

"I Cant believe it... Im old :( NOW GET OFF MY LAWN YOU LITTLE JERKS!" he added.

During his 90-minute-long set, Bruno - who was born Peter Hernandez - showed he was the ultimate showman.

He showcased his Michael Jackson-style dance moves, as well as his guitar skills, as he ran through his hits from both his albums including Treasure, Grenade, Marry You, Runaway Baby and Travie McCoy's Billionaire, which he featured on and co-wrote.

Bruno also told the crowds off for not dancing enough, saying: "We've been waiting a long time to play for you. We came to make you move, make you sweat. I see iPads and s***. What do you think this is? Put them down and dance."

He admitted When I Was Your Man was "still a difficult song to sing", before finishing off with Just The Way You Are. He returned for an encore to perform Locked Out Of Heaven and Gorilla.

With support from funk singer Mayer Hawthorne, Bruno's Moonshine Jungle tour includes dates in London and Birmingham, before he returns in November for five more shows.
