Miley Cyrus: I'm a complete hermit

Miley Cyrus has claimed she is a "real life loser" who lives like a hermit with her dogs.

The 20-year-old singer and actress appeared on Fearne Cotton's show on BBC Radio 1 where she performed a cover of Lana Del Rey's track Summertime Sadness.

Miley, who recently split from fiance Liam Hemsworth, told Fearne: "I'm a complete hermit."

She said she spends most of her time at home relaxing with her pets.

She recalled: "I sat at my piano and played for an hour and a half, just to my dogs. Miley said the animals probably thought: "This is a real life loser."

Meanwhile, Miley told Radio 1's Newsbeat, she is a feminist.

Miley said she believes there is a "double standard" when it comes to men and women, and body image.

"I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women to not be scared of anything," she said.

She also said that her on-stage persona and revealing outfits were all part of her act.

"I don't actually walk around all day twerking with my tongue out dressed as a teddy bear," she said.
