Little Mix 'excited' for UK tour

Little Mix have promised an "unforgettable" time as they head out on their biggest UK tour to date.

The girl group, who won The X Factor in 2011, will perform 14 shows at arenas around the country, including London's O2 Arena, Birmingham's LG Arena and Brighton Centre, from May 16, 2014.

Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock said in a statement: "We're so excited to be preparing for our first arena tour! It's incredible to think we'll be playing for so many people every night.

"We are going to be pulling out all the stops to make sure it's as unforgettable for our Mixers as it will be for us," they added.

Tickets for the tour will be available for sale from 10am on December 6 from www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

Little Mix, whose new album Salute is out now, will release their new single, Little Me, on December 29.
