Lorde compares herself to Gollum
Lorde has said she looks like The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings character Gollum when she performs on stage.
The 17-year-old Royals singer told fans in a Q&A session on Reddit that she doesn't care about her image when she sings live.
"When I'm onstage, I don't think about how it looks, I just concentrate on really feeling what I hear," she said.
"But I totally know I look like Gollum when I perform, so it's cool."
The New Zealander also told V Magazine that she doesn't have a problem with other stars, such as Miley Cyrus, stripping off - but that it's not for her.
"It's not like I have a problem with dancing around in undies. I think you can use that stuff in a hugely powerful way," she told V magazine. "It just hasn't felt necessary for me."
