Leona works with producer Poet

Leona Lewis has revealed that she has been working with Black Eyed Peas producer Poet on her new album.

The former X Factor winner teamed up with the Grammy Award-winning producer earlier in the year and plans to meet up with him again in 2014, according to Billboard.

She said: "Earlier in the year I was getting in with a few different producers. I actually got in with Poet, who is an amazing producer.

"We did a couple of songs together, which has been really exciting. I will probably get back in and work with him again."

Leona recently released her first Christmas album, Christmas With Love, and told Billboard how the Motown feel of the album would carry over into her next release.

She said: "With Motown, it's been so present in my upbringing and my musical background, but I had never done a studio recording of it.

"I think that we got that across in the recordings, with all the live sounds, the brass section and the hugeness of it. And it came together really quickly - we got in the studio in the summer and just had an amazing time recording. I think that I would really like to take it into the next studio recording."
